S: How and when did you start collecting?

JM: I started collecting when I was a child, I got into the fleet ultra card collections from about 1990.

 

S: What do you collect? Does your collection have a theme, such as Star Wars, Batman, superheroes, etc.?

JM: I am quite specific on what I collect. The rabbit hole is a real thing :) 1/10th and 1/6th scale for the most part:

 

S: What are your favourite or the most prized pieces in your collection? And why?

JM: That’s a hard one. I would have to say my sentinel diorama. It’s takes me back to my childhood. watching X-men on a Saturday morning.

 

S: What do you love about XM?

JM: Everything. The quality. The craftsmanship. The paint and sculpt. Each piece is an absolute work of art and such a privilege to own. 

 

S: What items are on your wishlist?

JM: Hush Superman, sculpted cape. 

 

S: What do you think of the collecting community in SA?

JM: I have met some wonderful people. It’s been a lot of fun and very rewarding.
